Zachary J. Shepard is an experienced mediator and the founder of Shepard Resolution, known for his focused, patient, and determined approach to dispute resolution. Drawing on decades of professional experience in both business and law. Mr. Shepard brings a practical understanding of workplace dynamics, negotiation, and risk assessment to every matter he mediates. Additionally, his background in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation provides him with a depth of knowledge to facilitate an evaluative approach in these matters.

Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Shepard worked in the hospitality industry, beginning as a dishwasher and advancing into restaurant management, including running a small business and then with two properties at the Kimpton Group. This experience provides him with firsthand knowledge of employee relations and workforce management at every level, including recruiting, hiring, training, supervision, performance management, and employee separation. His background gives him a unique appreciation for the challenges faced by both employers and employees.

After moving to the practice of law, Mr. Shepard spent over twenty years at Glickman & Glickman, where he developed extensive experience in litigation, negotiation, and dispute resolution, primarily litigating employment, professional negligence (including legal and medical malpractice) and personal injury matters on behalf of individual plaintiffs in state and federal court, and arbitrations. He is committed to helping parties navigate complex disputes with professionalism, persistence, and a clear focus on achieving meaningful resolution.

He attended UCLA School of Law, and earned his B.A. in Sociology from UC Berkeley, graduating with Highest Honors, Dean's List recognition, and the Departmental Citation.
